Assembly ACT is excited to announce auditions for Beetlejuice Jr!!!!
We’re looking for performers ages 10–18 to join us for this fun, high-energy production. Whether your child has been on stage before or is just looking to try something new, we would love to see them at auditions.
Audition Dates:
May 26 from 6–9 PM
May 30 from 2–5 PM

Rehearsals will begin at the end of June and will take place on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 6–8 PM.
Performance Dates:
October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th

Principal Roles
Lydia Deetz
A whip-smart, grieving teenager with a dark sense of humor. Lydia is strong, independent, and the heart of the story. She isn’t afraid of Beetlejuice and stands her ground in the strange world around her.
Beetlejuice
The chaotic, hilarious “ghost with the most.” A mischievous trickster who lives in the Netherworld. High energy, comedic, and a big personality that drives the show.
Adam Maitland
A kind, cautious husband who struggles with life’s pressures and unexpected death. He is gentle, thoughtful, and devoted to Barbara.
Barbara Maitland
Warm, strong-willed, and more adventurous than Adam. She quickly bonds with Lydia and becomes an important support for her.
Charles Deetz
Lydia’s father. He’s trying to help her cope with grief, but doesn’t always get it right. He’s dealing with his own struggles while balancing family and life pressures.
Delia Schlimmer
Charles’s girlfriend. Over-the-top, optimistic, and a bit eccentric. She wants to fit in and connect with Lydia, even if her attempts don’t always land.

A business tycoon Charles wants to impress. Confident, bold, and a strong personality.

Maxie’s dramatic and comedic spouse. A fun role with strong personality and great timing.
Miss Argentina
A former beauty queen who guides the recently deceased in the Netherworld. Confident, glamorous, and commanding on stage.
Otho
Delia’s eccentric guru and self-proclaimed expert. Dramatic, confident, and a great comedic role.
Juno
Beetlejuice’s intimidating mother who runs the afterlife system. Tough, commanding, and no-nonsense with a sharp edge.
Sky (Girl Scout)
A sweet but unlucky Girl Scout who ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. A smaller role with a big moment.
Priest
Opens the show and sets the tone. Clear speaking and strong presence are important.

$100 production fee due only when rehearsals begin. Siblings will be $75 after the first child.
