AssemGlee is a community based performance group, making its home at The Assembly Theatre in Burrillville, RI. Taking inspiration from the structure of show choirs and glee clubs, AssemGlee celebrates all types of performance, incorporating dance and theater into vocal performance.
We believe in building community through performance and education, and as such AssemGlee will have rolling performances featuring different varieties of songs at each performance. Our first performance is intended to go up in late spring/early summer (date TBD). We are looking for talented performers ages 10-99 to be a part of the world premier of AssemGlee.
Initial auditions are February 16th at 6pm and February 21st at 6pm at The Assembly Theatre in Burrillville, RI, and virtual auditions are open between those dates, closing at midnight on the 21st. Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song that shows off your vocal range, and bring a performance resume if you have one. Performers that have other talents such as dance should come prepared to show us some moves!
